Silk Eyelash or Mink Eyelash, What is good for you?

Updated: Jan 27, 2021

Extension Eyelash is so good make up tools and skills. When we visit beauty shop, we always should choose silk or mink lash, but we don't know and even shop owner have no idea exactly.

What's the difference, you're probably wondering?

What are they made of?

Today, you will be well on your way to determining your dream lash look!

Mink Eyelash

The faux mink lashes we use thinner throughout their body, with a dark, semi-gloss finish and feathery appearance. Lighter in weight, our mink lash extensions are ideal for those who have natural lashes on the finer side or are shorter in length. Guests who are used to wearing a light coat of mascara will love our mink lashes because they provide the same natural look—minus the hassle of mascara.

Silk Eyelash

Boasting a semi-matte satin finish, our silk lashes are tapered only 1/3 of the way down from the tip. They are thicker throughout their body, creating a bolder look.

For guests who used 3 to 5 coats of mascara before they discovered eyelash extensions, silk lashes offer the same appearance. This time, with a truly flawless look—minus the mascara clumps.

Since both silk and mink lashes are made of a synthetic material, Be careful around extreme heat sources such as stoves, ovens, grills, hair dryers, lighters, open flames—anything that emits extreme heat.

Not only can you singe your lashes, but high heat can cause synthetic eyelash extensions to melt, giving them a clumpy appearance once they cool down. Not a pretty look.
